Plotly serves marquee enterprise customers such as Intuit, S&P Global, CIBC, Uniper, UK Power Networks and hundreds of other enterprises across financial services, energy, and manufacturing.We are looking for a seasoned Sr. Demand Generation Director to lead our demand generation strategies across multiple channels. This role requires a mix of analytical rigor and creative campaign design to build and accelerate Plotly's sales pipeline and growth.
The ideal candidate will be strategic, data-driven, and have a proven track record in scaling demand generation efforts in a tech or B2B environment.
Core job responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive demand generation strategy that aligns with Plotly’s growth objectives and enhances visibility in the market.
- Lead and optimize multi-channel campaigns, including email, SEM, social media, webinars, and event marketing to generate leads and drive conversions.
- Create creative, memorable experiences for community, customer and field events
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to ensure that demand generation strategies are integrated with sales objectives and follow-up processes.
- Utilize advanced analytics to track campaign performance, measure ROI, and continuously refine tactics based on data insights.
- Manage the marketing budget for demand generation activities, ensuring optimal allocation of resources for maximum impact.
- Oversee the creation and execution of targeted content and messaging that resonates with different segments of the customer journey.
- Stay abreast of the latest trends in demand generation and adopt new and innovative methods to remain competitive in the market.
Job requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in marketing with a strong focus on demand generation in the tech or B2B sectors.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Demonstrated success in designing and executing integrated marketing campaigns that deliver measurable results.
- Experience in designing and executing industry, customer, president’s club and private events
- Strong analytical skills with experience in CRM and marketing automation tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead and collaborate across cross-functional teams.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with SEO/SEM, data analytics, and performance metrics.
