This role encompasses overseeing and directing various data research projects, developing and refining research methodologies, and ensuring that data insights are accurate, reliable, and actionable. The Director also plays a key role in setting research priorities, focusing on operational efficiency, outcome generation and aligning data research efforts with business goals, and fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making.Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and manage the data research team, including direct reports, ensuring effective scaling and operational efficiency.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize team performance, cost-effectiveness, and outcome delivery.
- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of data research projects with a focus on operational excellence.
- Present strategic recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders, highlighting the impact and value generated by the research.
- Develop and implement data research strategies to meet business objectives and uncover opportunities for insights and innovation.
- Collaborate with external partners, vendors, and internal teams to integrate research findings into business processes.
- Ensure data research adheres to best practices and regulations, maintaining accuracy, privacy, and security.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field - Master’s or PhD is preferred with 12+ years in data research or analytics field and 4+ years in leadership role.
- Expertise in data analysis, statistical methods, and research methodologies
- Proficiency with data analysis tools and software (e.g., Python, R, SQL).
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
