Retail Account Director

Bazaarvoice is looking for an extraordinarily talented individual to join our world-class Enterprise Retail sales team. You must be the type of person that craves a challenge and is unafraid to constantly push yourself outside your zone of comfort. We are looking for a unique salesperson. You must be able to manage a multi-million dollar book of business, work in a pod structure where multiple other sellers are selling on your behalf, and be able to carry the entire sales and renewal process from start to finish on your own merit and skills.  

What you will be doing:


  • Selling and renewing high-ROI SaaS solutions with poise, personality, and confidence. 
  • Demonstrating and defending the value proposition of Bazaarvoice products and services. 
  • Operating as a true business owner. You will work in a team structure with Junior Sellers, Sellers that drive specific products for your business, Client Success Directors, Solutions Consultants, etc. 
  • Act as a true Account Manager overseeing almost all aspects of the client’s business. 
  • Drive conversational discovery dialogue with customers in order to reveal underlying pain-points and understand their unique needs and requirements. 

Necessary Skills and Experience:


  • 5+ years relative experience in Retail Sales, SaaS sales, or Internet marketing. 
  • A background in successfully managing a portfolio of Enterprise Retailers and consistently exceeding Revenue targets 
  • Proven ability to build trust and long-term relationships with C- level stakeholders. 
  • Ability to strategically approach a sales cycle through analysis, creativity, teamwork, and leadership. 
  • Ability to generate, qualify, and execute on opportunities in order to exceed revenue targets. 
  • Effectively create and articulate ROI in the negotiation process to bring the upmost value to both our customers, the consumers they serve, and Bazaarvoice. 
  • Demonstrated passion and energy, both externally with the customers and internally with cross-functional teams. 
  • Ability to build and manage an effective pipeline and communicate proactively with leadership throughout each phase of the sales process. 
  • A strong understanding of business practices, industry trends, and competitors in our space.
