Operations Contractor

At Sosuite, our mission is to transform how people live and travel. Sosuite provides beautiful, playful, and homey apartment suites for the modern traveler. We provide everything our guests need for a comfortable stay, whether that's 3 nights or 3 months. Sosuite started in 2019 and now boasts over 250 bedrooms throughout Philadelphia.

We are looking for a motivated individual to join our team as a part-time, flexible Operations Contractor.

You will pick up flexible shifts on your schedule, working as a W-9 Contractor on a part-time basis. You will join a tight-knit team helping to move inventory between storage locations, assemble furniture, and perform other physical work. This is a great position for someone who is looking for flexible part-time work over the long-term. We also welcome applicants who only wish to pick up shifts in the coming weeks.

As of September 19th, we have the the following shifts available for pick up

• Friday 9/20, 9am - 4pm
• Saturday 9/21, 9am - 4pm
• Monday 9/23 - Friday 9/27 9am - 4pm

Who we're looking for:

• Someone with a team player, can-do mindset
• Someone willing and able to perform physically strenuous work, such as moving furniture

Compensation & Benefits:

W-9 Contractor

$20 per hour (note: payment is via direct deposit into your checking account)

Flexible shifts - pick up shifts when you're able to

What you'll be doing at Sosuite:

• Assemble and disassemble furniture
• Move furniture and other items between storage locations
• Perform other heavy labor tasks
• Conduct inventory counts
• Assist the full-time Sosuite team with other projects as they arrive

What you need to be successful:

• Eligible to work in the United States
• Physical stamina and mobility including ability to reach, kneel, and bend
• Ability to lift, push, and pull required loads, including furniture and other heavy and bulky items (up to 100 pounds)
• A positive attitude, and the ability to work effectively both in a team environment as well as independently
