The ideal candidate has a passion for sales and building connections with experience in software sales.
They are excited to work alongside developers to build, improve, and deliver significant product enhancements that solve challenging problems in the database DevOps & CI/CD space.
What you’ll be doing:
- Managing full sales cycle from prospect to close
- Analyzes regional market dynamics in an effort to create new sales growth opportunities
- Educates team on significant industry factors including competitive products, regulations, trends, customer needs, and pricing
- Prepares forecasts, territory/industry management, and growth plans
- Establishes and reports on metrics to measure performance; correct deficiencies where necessary
- Supports quotation and proposal efforts to partners, prospects and customers
- Collaborating with other team, including sales engineering and sales development
Must Haves:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years of software sales experience in a federal sales role
- Intimate knowledge of the U.S. public sector, U.S. federal sector in particular
- Demonstrated experience selling complex solutions to C-Level executives and across both IT and business units
- Solid understanding of the U.S. federal government’s acquisition and procurement process
- Understand the value of utilizing MEDDIC methodology when building pipeline and qualifying opportunities
- Consistent overachievement of quota and revenue goals
