Leveraging its extensive industry knowledge and proven technology portfolio, Xpansiv assists companies seeking to identify and mitigate risk, streamline the management of their environmental assets, and comply with regulations, caps and commitments.Description:The APX Market Operator is a high-impact role in supporting our wholesale power market operations (wind, solar, energy storage, and load resources) across, ERCOT, CAISO, MISO, SPP, PJM, NYISO, and ISO-NE. APX Market Operators are full-time client service specialists responsible for using proprietary technology and market expertise to facilitate wholesale electricity transactions across several geographic regions.
Market Operators communicate with our clients via phone and email to ensure the proper flow of information between them and the operator of the electricity grid. Market Operators are also responsible for research and documentation of market changes, internal product testing and feedback, and the maintenance of Market Operations support procedures.
What you’ll do:
· 24/7 Real-Time Operationso Support all clients including, but not limited to:o Resource Management (Dispatch, Outage, 24/7 Agent)o Transaction Management (Day-Ahead/Real-Time Scheduling)o Helpdesk support for MarketSuite, APX System/Infrastructure and Market Knowledgeo NERC E-Tag Monitoring and Adjustments· Monitor all serviced client portfolios and ensure valid submissions prior to Market Deadlines· Escalate and address all System Emergencies in-line with Operating Procedures· Assist with internal system testing· Maintenance and Development of Operational Documentation· Daily Reporting on market and client activities
What you’ll bring:
o PJM operations certification/experience o Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business or technical fieldo Excellent verbal and written communication skillso Ability to react to quickly changing priorities and strict deadlineso Strong analytic skillso High level of attention to detailo Ability to work rotating shift work, including days, nights, weekends, and holidayso Knowledge of using ISO systems for outage reporting, scheduling and dispatching
Desired Qualifications:
o Working knowledge of SCADA Systemso Prior Control Center Experienceo Experience with testing Software or reporting software issueso Basic SQL knowledge

Base Salary
Compensation for this role will vary among specific regions due to geographic differentials in the labor market, actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, knowledge, education and training.
