Job Purpose:


As a Project Manager at Open LMS, you’ll be at the heart of our Professional Services team. Your role is to gather insights, build strong connections, and ensure our customers have an exceptional experience from start to finish. You’ll set clear expectations, facilitate project workflows, and manage team communications to ensure everything runs smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:


Your main duties will focus on the core purpose of this role but may include other related tasks. These responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Communicating effectively with customers to ensure their expectations align with project deliverables and timelines.
  • Forecasting and managing resources to achieve project goals efficiently.
  • Monitoring project performance to find areas for improvement.
  • Applying best practices and standards throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and tracking it for each project.
  • Identifying and reporting potential risks and issues early.
  • Tracking project hours and costs accurately.
  • Managing technical and content-related EdTech projects.
  • Working closely with people managers to allocate the right team members for each project.
  • Leading project teams to achieve successful project outcomes

Success Criteria:


Your performance will be evaluated based on the responsibilities listed above, aligned with our team and organizational objectives. We’ll discuss and review your individual performance measures and behavior standards periodically as part of the Open LMS Performance Development Policy and Procedure.

Requirements:


  • Has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineer, or equivalent work experience
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Excellent writing, communication, and analytical skills
  • Action-oriented and driven by data.
  • High skills in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Spreadsheets
  • Experience in the Higher Education sector
  • Knowledge in sales operations
  • Be flexible with schedule, be able to work for different time zones
  • Self-paced courses certifications
  • Project Management experience in Higher Education sector
  • Experience working with customers of different countries

Helpful Skills and Qualifications:


  • Experience leading technical teams.
  • Familiarity with custom development for Moodle.
  • Proficiency in Spanish.
