Position Summary
Provides administrative support for full life-cycle talent management. Coordinates and administers a variety of HR-related responsibilities, including but not limited to record-keeping, project coordination, employee communications, HR administration, etc.
Key Functions & Responsibilities
- Provide support through the entire pre-onboarding process including creating and sending offer letters, employment agreements, and other paperwork.
- Assist with NEO.
- Provide oversight for I-9 processing, reference, background checks, and new hire processing.
- Document Management.
- May assist with reporting, internal audits, and compliance assessments – e.g., I-9, Joint Commission, HRSA.
- Scan documents into Dynafile.
- Assist with training, reporting, and monitoring.
- May serve as a backup in a Junior HR Generalist capacity, as needed for end-to-end talent management.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- 1-3 years of work experience in Human Resources or a related field.
- BS/BA in a related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Interest in working in a progressive HR function. Prior work experience with an FQHC is a plus.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Ability to effectively respond to inquiries. Must be customer-focused on service delivery.
- Experience in an HRIS system, preferably ADP WFN.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to think critically, problem-solve, and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with the State of Maryland Employment Law
