We are seeking teammates who take pride in their work and who get excited about building new systems with significant responsibility.As a Senior Applications Engineer at Boxbot, you'll collaborate with customers to understand their needs and create unique product offerings.
You'll also ensure seamless integration of Boxbot products into client operations by working closely with cross-functional teams. You will be responsible for the success of critical projects from the proposal stage through final delivery.
Responsibilities
- Interface with customers and craft technical proposals tailored to specific applications in the parcel delivery and logistics industries
- Analyze customer requirements and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineering, software, and electrical engineering, to design and develop tailored solutions
- Develop and maintain project timelines and roadmaps, ensuring timely delivery of our solutions
- Oversee the end-to-end solution implementation process, from product design to installation, calibration, and maintenance
- Regularly communicate with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure efficient project execution and build strong working relationships
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field
- Experience delivering completed projects in material handling automation or robotics (in the parcel delivery industry is a big plus)
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, solutions engineering, or project management, in the material handling automation industry
- Strong knowledge of automation design principles and familiarity with 3D modeling software such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD
- Technical proficiency - able to discuss and negotiate technical requirements in detail
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage complex projects
- Detail oriented and able to track requirements across multiple stakeholders
- Familiarity with project management tools and best practices
- Open to remote or hybrid applicants
