It provides secure data exchange to and within various CMS quality reporting programs, including Hospital Inpatient Quality Reporting, Hospital Outpatient Quality Reporting, Inpatient Psychiatric Facility Quality Reporting, Prospective Payment System-Exempt Cancer Hospital Quality Reporting, Ambulatory Surgical Center Quality Reporting, and the Medicare Promoting Interoperability Program.  

Background check requirements


  • US Citizenship or documented proof of eligibility to work in the US

The ideal candidate will have


  •  8 or more  years of experience as a customer-facing digital product manager in a cross-functional agile environment, ideally in the public sector, professional services or a highly regulated industry.
  • To be successful, this person must have a deep understanding of the consulting mindset, user-centered prioritization and the ability to build trust with a wide variety of stakeholders in a complex organization.
  • Success requires a candidate who has excellent communication, collaboration and technical product skills.
  • This is a people management role, requiring proven experience as a direct manager overseeing performance and professional development of other Product Managers.

What You Can Expect


  • Our work moves fast and so will you! With the support of your manager, team members and the Bellese community, you’ll dive right into getting familiar with Bellese and your program. This role requires a proactive self-starter who is comfortable taking an early lead while remaining humble, collaborative and flexible. Your first year at Bellese might look something like this:
  • Week 1 Get to know your manager, direct reports, fellow teammates and Bellese
  • Month 1 Start to become an expert on your product and its users; norm and form with your project team, build relationships with key stakeholders and other Bellese managers, and start making decisions!
  • Year 1 Take on new challenges as a senior leader in the Product Management discipline. This might include contributing to business development efforts, developing mentorship and coaching materials, or leading hiring and performance initiatives to support our growing Product discipline.
  • You are one of Bellese's people leaders and a senior member of the product discipline.
  • In this role, your focus is on people, and you have strong skills in hiring, developing and retaining talent.
  • You have a deep understanding of conflict resolution tactics, performance management and building inclusive teams.
  • Being successful demands an understanding of how to define healthy organizational dynamics and servant leadership.
  • Your biggest challenge is not in excelling at your own work, but in training others to be good at theirs.
  • The value of your role is beyond personal output, instead defined by the total output of your team.

Required Skills & Experience


  •  8 or more years as a Product Manager building digital products in a cross-functional agile environment
  • Experience directly managing other product professionals, including being responsible for performance management and professional development
  • Experience developing product team staffing models, consulting on job ladders and leading hiring initiatives
  • Prior professional services, government, or federal consulting experience in a client-facing consulting or contracting role
  • Exceptional coaching and mentoring skills
  • Expert knowledge of product operations and agile frameworks
  • In-depth knowledge of the requirements management cycle with excellence in coaching others in defining, writing and testing requirements, acceptance criteria and definition of done
  • Superior relationship building skills in large, complex stakeholder environments
  • Masterful communication skills across business, technical and creative stakeholders
  • Proven ability driving progress in ambiguous environments
  • Strong understanding of horizon two and three product strategy planning, and how to balance that against horizon one execution
  • Experience writing or editing product processes for government or commercial proposals
  • Past experience managing teams owning data platforms, lower environments and infrastructure products

Preferred Qualifications


  • Formal training in a variety of agile delivery frameworks, including SAFe
  • 2+ years as a people manager on a remote team
  • Experience in a rapidly growing small business or startup environment
  • Experience building digital healthcare technology products and services
  • Experience working in the public sector or a highly regulated industry
  • Familiarity with accessibility requirements
  • Certification in or experience leading organizational change management efforts
  • Experience building and leading Communities of Practice for product management in partnership with other disciplines
