This role involves collaborating with suppliers and customers, managing inventory, optimizing logistics, and ensuring that our supply chain processes align with company goals and customer needs.Responsibilities:
- Management of departments: International Logistics, Domestic Logistics, Customer Service
- Responsible for the contracts for third party providers including, but limited to warehouses, custom brokers, and freight forwarders.
- Develop new supply models and methods to provide the most efficient supply chain for new and existing product lines.
- Ensure that the importing and distribution business is conducted within the Company and Statutory Safety, Health and Environment requirements and meets all local ANZ regulations
- Responsible for creating standard and unification of all operational internal process in order to reduce the cost and improve the service.
- Conduct quality and compliance audits, identify gaps, recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare and present regular reports on supply chain performance, including key metrics and KPIs. Use data analysis to drive improvements and support strategic decision-making.
- Coordinate the communication/activities with all other offices that export to AUS/NZ.
- Manage the inventory, and documentation flow to customers, suppliers and freight providers.
- Creates monthly supply chain summary report to share with logistics and commercial team
- Responsible for coordinating the onboarding and develop SOP’s required to setup new logistics providers; credit reviews, and performance evaluations on monthly basis.
- Maintain the ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system per company policies and objectives to maximize logistical support and efficiency for petrochemical trades.
- Work closely with management, procurement, technical, and sales teams to ensure alignment and coordination across the supply chain
- Experience with International Commercial Terms (i.e. Incoterms) in physical Petrochemical Commodity transactions, documentation requirements, Force Majeure’s and Demurrage Claims.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a supply chain or related field
- 7+ years' professional experience in logistics; polymers distribution a plus
- Proven ability to resolve complex operational issues
- Ability to lead and manage teams
- Ability to effectively negotiate agreements with third parties
- Experience working in an ERP system
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- In-depth understanding of incoterms, import/export procedures, and regulatory compliance
