What You’ll Do


Tech you will use:


  • Python for backend development, scripting, and automation.
  • Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform for managing cloud-based applications and infrastructure (AWS).
  • PostgreSQL/MySql, MongoDB for data persistence
  • CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions for continuous integration and deployment.
  • Slack, Jira/Confluence, Google Workspace for team collaboration and issue tracking.

How You Deliver:

  • Support production environments, ensuring uptime, performance, and resolving any issues that arise.
  • Develop and maintain microservice oriented applications to efficiently and quickly deliver features.
  • Implement and manage DevOps practices: Automate and optimize deployment processes using tools like Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
  • Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of systems.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain high standards.
  • Guide junior engineers, fostering best practices and continuous improvement.
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.

What You Deliver:

  • Develop and Maintain Core Backend Systems: Create and sustain Python-based backend systems that power and optimize manufacturing processes, ensuring high performance and reliability.
  • Automate and Test: Implement robust automated testing solutions (e.g., unit, integration, performance) to guarantee the reliability and efficiency of your code across various production environments.
  • Enhance and Optimize Operations: Integrate, debug, and deploy solutions to continuously improve manufacturing operations, maximizing uptime and efficiency.
  • Optimize CI/CD Pipelines: Refine continuous integration and deployment pipelines to streamline releases and reduce downtime.
  • Monitor and Improve System Performance: Utilize monitoring tools and log analysis to proactively identify and resolve potential issues, ensuring system reliability.
  • Stay Ahead of the Curve: Keep up with emerging trends and technologies, and proactively apply them to improve production support and system operations.

Who You Are


Educated and Experienced:


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in production support, development, and DevOps practices
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS for deploying and managing cloud-based applications.
  • Proficient in version control using Git, with experience in CI/CD pipelines and container deployments.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and resolving production issues in a timely manner.
  • Familiarity with Terraform for managing infrastructure as code
