Business Analyst - Japanese Translator

Job Responsibilities:
• Monitoring EDI/ASN feeds from Retailers to ensure orders and data are processed correctly and any errors are resolved quickly and effectively.• Identify Trends and Patterns: Must identify trends and patterns in inventory levels, sales, and order fulfillment to inform demand planning decisions.• Identify and Implement Process Improvements: Must be able to identify areas for improvement in demand planning and inventory management processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.• Participate in Special Projects: Must be able to lead special projects related to inventory optimization, new product launches, or process automation.• Responsible for Demand Planning, Inventory Management, and Data Management• Circulate standard reporting, on an agreed frequency.

• Review and act upon daily critical reporting.• Order fulfilment analysis as requested. • Support client forecasting process. • Weekly replenishment/forecast/stock check analysis. • Provide excellent service levels in the overall management of the various accounts/categories. • Build relationships through client engagement and ensure clear and concise communication, in a high-profile, high-performance environment. • Align your KPI’s with Stakeholder objectives.• Ensure Process Documents for specific category/vendor is always up to date and accurate.

• It may be necessary for you to take over duties normally performed by colleagues (e.g. Leave Cover, seasonal periods). This flexibility is essential for operational efficiency as the type and volume of work is always subject to change.Qualifications Needed:• Fluent English and Business Japanese Required• Analytical Thinking: Must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.• Attention to Detail: Must have meticulous attention to detail to catch errors in data feeds or forecasts.• Adaptability: Must be adaptable to changing environments, especially during high-demand periods or unforeseen challenges.• Proven administration experience • PC literate, including fluent use of Excel and Word• Strong Interpersonal skills• Quick to learn and understand• Ability to plan, multi-task and manage time effectively• Team player• Enthusiastic, positive, and flexible approach• Personable attitude• Flexible work hours may be required
