Second Press Operator- Offset Sheetfed (Press)

Baesman Group. Inc. has an excellent opportunity for someone with NO EXPERIENCE but has the desire to start in a role that leads to a career in printing. We are looking for an Offset Second Press Operator for our third shift operations. This position is responsible for the timely and cost-effective production of quality printed materials by acting as a feeder operator in conjunction with a team leader on any of the printing presses. Must be hardworking and willing to learn

• Perform assigned activity to produce a completed job, ensure the completion of the job with respect to company quality and quantity standards.• Assist Press Operator in set-up of machines• Obtain supplies needed for setups and correct material allocated to the present job• Determine material needs, fill out material request form and work with shipping department for staging• Review specs such as; Job Order, Print Master, Proofs, and Samples• Participate in cleaning and maintenance work on machines• Load paper stock and maintain feeder operations• Add ink to ink reservoir to maintain a specified level.• Complete and maintain all required paperwork• Follow and comply with all safety rules, work rules, and regulations.• Maintain good housekeeping in assigned work area and throughout the department work space.• Must be willing to take direction from the pressman in a team environment• Other duties as assigned.
