TeamDynamix is seeking a highly skilled and motivated
Contract Attorney.
In this pivotal role, you'll manage a high-volume portfolio of contracts, ensuring they align with our corporate policies and effectively mitigate risks. As the first internal legal hire for TeamDynamix, you'll have a unique opportunity to develop and iterate on processes and systems related to contract agreements and contract management. We're excited to speak with candidates that have experience managing SaaS contracts, strong attention to detail, and exceptional legal and business acumen and judgement. This role reports directly to the CEO.
About the Role
- Structure, review, draft, and negotiate SaaS and IT master services agreements and other commercial agreements with TeamDynamix customers in a high-volume environment.
- Redline and edit contract language and suggest alternate terms based on the needs of the engagement/stakeholder.
- Manage contractual timelines and discussions regarding renewals, amendments, change orders.
- Collaborate with revenue operations, sales operations, and product teams to align agreements with corporate policies.
- Provide day-to-day commercial legal support, business-focused counseling, and advice to the sales organization.
- Ensure consistency of enterprise technology transaction documents to ensure compliance with company policies and goals.
- Protect and mitigate company risks that may arise from contractual commitments.
- Effectively present issues to senior management and work closely on resolutions.
- Work independently and identify areas to continually improve and drive efficiency into the contracting process with internal and external stakeholders.
About You
- J.D. from an accredited law school and membership in at least one state bar.
- 8+ years of experience working as a practicing lawyer.
- Legal experience working with a high-volume of SaaS contracts.
- Experience supporting an Enterprise and Client Sales team.
- Prior law firm and/or in house experience with a B2B SaaS company preferred.
- Exceptional legal and business acumen and judgment.
- Effective communicator and strong work ethic.
- Strong drafting and negotiating skills.
- Business-oriented legal outlook.
- Excellent project management and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail, commitment to quality, and passion for results.
What Does This Role Pay?
The wage range for this role contemplates the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including (but not limited to) skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. A reasonable estimate of the current range for base salary is $200,000 to $300,000 plus an annual bonus.
