About the Role
As a Frontend Engineer at Lucidworks, you will play a crucial role in creating and maintaining exceptional user interfaces for our products. You'll bring a creative background and apply it holistically to all of Lucidworks' user interfaces, ensuring they are consistent, visually appealing, and provide an outstanding user experience.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain robust, scalable, and efficient frontend applications using our stack (StencilJS, TypeScript, SCSS)
- Contribute to the development of common, reusable user interface components
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement user interface requirements
- Engage in peer code reviews, share best practices, and contribute to the team's continuous improvement
- Ensure Lucidworks user interfaces are implemented consistently across products
- Work with the design team to translate concepts into functional and visually appealing interfaces
- Optimize frontend applications for maximum speed and scalability
- Stay up-to-date with emerging frontend technologies and industry trends
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of our component libraries
- Participate in the continuous improvement of our build and deployment processes using tools like GitHub, Jenkins, and ArgoCD
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent real-world experience
- Experience with modern frontend frameworks and libraries (StencilJS experience is a plus)
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically in high-pressure situations
- Have an enthusiastic, go-for-it attitude; when you see something broken, you can’t help but fix it
- Have an urge for delivering quickly and effectively, and iterating rapidly
- Resourceful: willing to jump in, be agile/flexible, leverage existing resources to accomplish goals, and able to work independently
- Team player: confident in collaborating with a diverse community of people and personalities across geographies, backgrounds, and professional abilities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Empathy and care for all stakeholders of Lucidwork including employees, customers, partners, and guests
- Ability to handle confidential information
$90,450 - $130,000 a yearThis salary range may include multiple levels. Your level is based on our assessment of your interview performance and experience, which you can always ask the hiring manager about to understand in more detail.
