This position will report directly to the East Regional President and will be responsible for both the daily operations, project delivery and business development of our Chicago office, as well as its overall performance. As we continue to scale, we consider this a pivotal position responsible for enhancing our high-visibility culture in the marketplace and for promoting our core values. Working closely with the General Manager, Corporate Services and the Board of Directors, you will be responsible for the business development strategies, including fostering new client relationships, as well as successfully maintaining a portfolio of existing clientele. That’s why we’re curious to learn about you and to help you discern if a career with PMA is a good fit for you, your values, and your goals.• Responsible for the profitable operation of an office, including business development and revenue generation• Ensures the achievement of short and long-term goals for operations, workforce planning, financial performance and growth.• Responsible for marketing PMA’s services, acquiring and signing contracts• Acts as Practice Builder to provide leadership in planning, directing and implementing a marketing/business plan to manage existing client relationships and develop new relationships.• Builds a strong and effective team based upon the principles of leadership, mentoring and empowerment.• Attracts experienced staff members, who bring client relationships, strong technical credentials, and a solid reputation.• Plan and prepare teams for prospecting and interviews.• Work with team to develop proposals that speaks to the clients’ needs, concerns, and objectives.• Actively partner with the Marketing team to oversee the creation of a wide variety of customized, professional-quality marketing materials for new pursuits (most commonly written proposals, RFP responses, and graphical presentations) • Develops strong working relationships with subject matter experts throughout the organization at the functional and account management levels.
