The Functional Analyst is responsible for overseeing the custom design, configuration, and delivery of HICX software to our customers.You will be a part of a team responsible for implementing a supplier information management solution in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment for global customers.The Functional Analyst will assist customers with the implementation and use of our software products, acting as a subject matter expert on business processes, configuration, and technical capabilities.

You are passionate about technology, eager to work with technical engineers, and to get your hands dirty with SQL queries and scripts.

Responsibilities 


You will be responsible for the success of solution implementation of the HICX platform across multiple customers.  You will own the delivery of the solution implementation, working closely with project managers and solution architects.  This is a customer facing role working with HICX’s fortune 5000 customers.  The role will include managing a small team of analysts and technical consultants under the guidance of the Solution Architect.  If required, you will be expected to support sales teams to build demos and by providing solution expertise. 

Responsibilities: 


  • Serve as a subject matter expert on our platform, staying up-to-date with the latest features and enhancements. 

  • Provide solutions to configure, customize and integrate with our products.  

  • Implement configuration and execute testing, support the customer during User Acceptance Testing 

  • Demonstrate excellent customer facing skills, meeting with customers both in-person and virtually to drive out elements of detailed design and advise on transforming business practices in accordance with software design. 

  • Lead teams during the implementation process, ensuring successful implementation and user onboarding.  

  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in supplier management and contribute to thought leadership initiatives. 

  • Provide post-sales support, addressing any technical questions or issues that arise during and after implementation.  

  • Provide overall leadership for the solution scope of customer projects and be able to work with minimal supervision, reporting to the project manager taking guidance from the Solution Architect 

  • Work with project managers to serve as the subject matter expert on implementation requirements and relevant technical information. 

  • Identify technical challenges and provide recommendations for improvement, focusing on customer satisfaction and efficiency. 

In addition to the above-described responsibilities, you may be assigned such other duties as directed from time to time by HICX.  Please also note that HICX may modify your responsibilities in its discretion.   

Requirements


Essential


  • 2+ years’ professional experience working as a team member of software implementations 
  • 2+ years’ domain experience with procurement software such as Supplier Information Management or P2P (Coupa, Ariba, Basware, Ivalua etc.) 
  • Desirable to have 2+ years’ experience with procurement/supply chain processes and data in ERPs and other systems (SAP, Oracle, JDE, PeopleSoft, etc.) 
  • Experience delivering the build of SaaS products aligned to customer requirements and business processes 
  • Strong understanding and hands-on experience with SaaS products 
  • Understanding of the principles of scripting languages, SQL, APIs and data models  
  • Experience working in environment with software development and web technologies 
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills 
  • Outstanding organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills 
  • Strong practical experience with Microsoft Office 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Desirable:


  • Experience with Aravo, Ariba, Coupa, or similar procurement applications
  • Experience with SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP applications
  • Experience with supplier master data governance
  • Experience administering or configuration in cloud-based applications.
  • Experience with Jira and agile delivery principles

  • You do not like debugging or find the prospect of reading and interpreting errors scary – to be able to confidently triage, investigate, and resolve issues effectively, debugging is a core part in a functional analyst’s workstream.
