Regional Account Manager

Expedient is hiring a Regional Account Manager in Phoenix, Arizona or Denver, Colorado.  This individual contributor role is focused on managing a portfolio of current Expedient clients; leveraging your strong business insights and IT technical skills, to provide value that aligns with our clients’ strategic business initiatives. This role will also be focused on prospecting, forecasting opportunities, pipeline development and closing deals based on individual and quarterly sales targets

Responsibilities


  • Engaging in a continual selling effort with clients to enhance the value of Expedient’s services and to create demand for additional revenue
  • Retain, nurture and grow the existing client sales pipeline, forecasting future sales and meeting or exceeding quarterly sales targets
  • Serve as a client advocate to ensure an optimal client experience by working with our Operations Support, Service Delivery and Product Development teams
  • Develop, prepare and deliver sales proposals and presentations while partnering with a dedicated Solutions Architect  
  • Develop account plans for your largest clients to assist in overall account engagement by the broader support team
  • Establishing and fostering key stakeholder relationships across a range of personas and functions within the client organization, including data center infrastructure, application development, finance, procurement, legal and senior executives
  • Responsible for the entire sales process from lead generation to deal close for existing clients
  • Partner with Sales Leadership, Account Executives, and Client Advisors to develop strategies to target and grow Expedient’s overall account base in your region
  • Grow the sales pipeline of new business, forecasting future sales based on trends and observations and meeting or exceeding quarterly sales quotas  

Requirements


  • The proven ability to become a strategic advisor and thought leader for your clients is crucial to the success of this role
  • At least 5 years of experience in IT solutions-based selling
  • Proven track record of exceeding individual sales and retention goals through the strategic management of a portfolio of existing clients
  • Successful track record in a complex sales environment, IT or Technology is highly preferred
  • Proficiency in sales funnel development, deal progression and closing 
  • Manage the full sales process from lead generation to close with the ability to accurately forecast your business 
  • Strong in-person and virtual networking skills 
  • Effective communication and presentation skills  
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Salesforce and other sales tools (i.e., account-based marketing, prospecting, etc.) 
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related discipline is highly desired

Salary for this position is directly related to experience and proven success.  Total annual salary for this position including base and commission, is estimated at $140,000 to $170,000
