Summary


Eversight's Donor Eligibility Coordinator is responsible for determining donor corneal tissue suitability based on Eversight and EBAA Medical Standards and in full compliance with FDA regulations.Hours: (4) 10-hour shifts (7am-5pm ET) with rotating weekend coverage

Remote work schedule with occasional mandatory in-office days.

Essential Job Functions


  • Studies donor medical history to determine if ocular tissue is eligible for surgical transplantation.
  • Utilizes proficient understanding of medical terminology to review patient medical records, lab results and diagnoses in detail in order to make critical decisions.
  • Performs accurate and efficient data entry of patient medical and social history.
  • Provides superior customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Upholds strict HIPPA compliance.
  • Maintains professional knowledge and adapts to industry changes through continuing education, workshops, and other professional educational publications.
  • Demonstrates a commitment to the Mission and Values of Eversight.

Qualifications:


Experience: Experience in medical field preferred. Experience with medical chart review and management is required.Education: Undergraduate studies in science field preferred.Skills: Detail orientated. Effective communication. Professional interaction. High level multitasking. Highly self-motivated and disciplined. Critical thinking and problem solving. Team focus. Agility. Flexibility.Knowledge: Comprehension of medical terminology. Proficiency in MS Office and Adobe. Proficient with technology.

Valid driver’s license.

Work Environment & Physical Demands


Work is primarily performed remotely with occasional required in-office work days. Routine limited noise, room temperature fluctuation and dust are possible. Audio, visual and verbal functions are vital aspects of this position. Routine use of a provided computer, personal phone and reliable, personal at home internet.Use of personal vehicle is required when traveling within the service area.
