Description
We are recruiting students for our 2025 summer term intern program. These internships are paid and run full-time from May 19 through August 1, 2025. We are explicitly looking for undergraduate or graduate-level students actively enrolled in an accredited college program of Aerospace Engineering, Aerospace Technology & Industrial Distribution, Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Industrial & Systems Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field. This role will work collaboratively daily with our Mechanical Engineering, Tool and Die, and Manufacturing departments. The internship assignments are designed to provide the students with real-life work experience and training in the day-to-day activities of a manufacturing facility.

Key Job Responsibilities
- Work on assigned projects with the close supervision of a mentor/supervisor team member.
- Plan, conceptualize, and create mechanical designs for new products.
- Develop testing processes and perform testing and validation of new designs.
- Generate working prototypes for beta testing and customer demonstration.
- Perform engineering calculations to support design work.
- Create and review technical drawings, plans, and specifications using computer software.
Education Requirements
- Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in undergraduate (entering junior or senior year) or graduate level students actively enrolled in an accredited college program of Aerospace Engineering, Aerospace Technology & Industrial Distribution, Biosystems Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Industrial & Systems Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of a 3.0 GPA.
Preferred Skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
- Ability to work well with others and meet deadlines and goals in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem solving skills.
- SolidWorks experience designing and drafting assembly fixtures and equipment.
- Knowledge of drafting principles, GD&T, and a general understanding of design for the manufacturing process.
- Self-motivated, organized, detail-oriented, and self-starter.
