A. Purpose and Scope of Position
As a Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting International Marketing, Product Management and Sales. You will also interface with Direct Sales and Customer Service as required.
B. Organizational Relationship
This position reports to the Director, Marketing International. This position may provide additional support to other departments as requested.
C. Duties and Responsibilities
Specific Job Duties/ResponsibilitiesResponsible for supporting Marketing, Product Management and SalesInterface with Direct Sales, Product Management and Customer ServiceSupport the marketing strategy of the company, plan all events for direct sales countries and related efforts accordingly while respecting the allocated resources and budgetsResponsible for administration of all events in Germany and all events with national sales/Marketing aspects in GermanySupport the organization of clinical visits and training courses (e.g. cadaver labs, expert meetings, hospital settings) as part of customer trainingSupport the organization of sales meetings, direct sales user meetings including travelSupport the coordination of in-house trainings and roadshows for new employees Responsible for follow-up of events, congresses, etc.Responsible for the digital Marketing channels and tools to ensure brand consistencySupporting office managementInterface with Quality as required in complaint handling, recalls / advisory notices, and other quality management system / regulatory requirementsSupport the administration of all events outside the US and all events with international sales / marketing aspectsAdmin Atlatos (travel management system)Financial ResponsibilitiesSubmit timely expense reports and abide by the Expense Reimbursement PolicyTrainingParticipate in training plans and programs and complete in a timely manner within set deadlinesComplete required training prior to attempting to perform a taskMaintain required training documentationManagementThis position does not supervise othersDocument Control and Record ControlAssist in the completion and retention of documentation pertaining to all SOPs as requiredMaintain information in physical and electronic files as requiredOther duties as assignedD. Job Requirements
Education/Credentials Experience & Training- Completed commercial apprenticeship (e.g., in Germany: kaufmännische Ausbildung (IHK) or Bachelor of Arts) is required
- Practical experience in Marketing and/or Product Management is required
- Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience in marketing or equivalent is required
- Experience in medical device / spine industry is preferred

5. Working Conditions
- Working conditions are normal for an office environment with an open layout and assigned workstation or office
- Standard office hours are Monday – Friday; 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
- Work may require prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer
6. Health and Safety
- Must adhere to all safety requirements
- Must be able to occasionally lift and handle objects weighing up to 10 lbs.
