We are a SaaS company that operates in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment. Our 3 teams located in the US, Poland, and Thailand work collaboratively around the clock to build our PCRS platform that automates the full administration lifecycle of all extended warranties, F&I products, and service contracts for our customers.What You'll DoThe Test Automation Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated testing frameworks and scripts for our SaaS platform.
This role will work closely with developers, QA engineers, and product managers to ensure high-quality software delivery through effective automation strategies.In this role, You Will
- Automation Framework Development: Design, build, and maintain robust automation frameworks and scripts to support end-to-end testing of the SaaS platform.
- Test Automation: Develop and execute automated test cases for functional, integration, and regression testing to ensure the platform's reliability and performance.
- Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to facilitate continuous testing and rapid feedback during development.
- Collaboration: Work closely with software developers, QA engineers, and product managers to understand requirements, identify test scenarios, and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Bug Reporting: Identify, document, and track defects found during automated testing. Collaborate with development teams to reproduce, diagnose, and resolve issues.
- Test Strategy: Contribute to the development and execution of test strategies, including determining the scope and depth of automated testing required for different features and releases.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyze test results, providing actionable insights and recommendations for improvements to the development team.
- Documentation: Maintain clear and concise documentation for automation frameworks, test scripts, and processes to ensure knowledge sharing and consistency across the team.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay current with industry trends, tools, and best practices in test automation. Propose and implement improvements to enhance the automation process's efficiency and effectiveness.
What You'll Need to Join Our TeamExperience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field or equivalent work experience.
- 3-5 years of experience in test automation engineering, focusing on SaaS platforms or similar environments.
- Experience with languages (e.g., C#, TypeScript) and CI/CD tools (e.g., Azure DevOps Pipelines, TeamCity).
- Experience with SQL Databases (e.g., MS SQL).
- Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices, including functional, integration, and regression testing.
