- Reconcile bank accounts with precision, ensuring accurate and timely financial information.
- Oversee the maintenance of the general ledger, including managing accounts receivable and payable, adjusting entries for amortization, and preparing fixed asset depreciation and accruals.
- Collaborate with senior management to develop and refine budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Create and maintain detailed financial forecasting models to project revenue, expenses, and cash flow.
- Analyze financial data and market trends to support both short-term and long-term financial planning.
- Monitor and report on budget performance, identifying variances and providing recommendations for cost-saving measures and revenue enhancement.
- Prepare and present financial reports that clearly communicate results and insights to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and maintain organized documentation for audits and reviews.
- Conduct various financial analyses, including cost-benefit analyses and ROI calculations, to support strategic decision-making.
- Handle all aspects of financial documentation and reporting with a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.
- Occasionally work extended hours as needed to meet business requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
QualificationsRequired Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in accounting or financial analysis, with a proven track record in budgeting and forecasting.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling and advanced formulas.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks or Xero, with experience in implementing and managing financial systems independently.
- Strong communication skills in English and Spanish, with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly and effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in senior accounting roles within service-based or multinational companies.
- Demonstrated success in leading financial forecasting and budgeting processes.
- Experience with financial automation tools and process improvement (e.g., Zapier).
- Background in accounting for US-based companies or international organizations.
