Summary
Key point of contact for clients, answering queries, providing technical advice and introducing new products. Evaluates work processes to determine strategies and programs which provide greater productivity and efficiency of company functions by performing the following duties.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.• Search for new clients who will benefit from capital equipment purchase(s).• Develop long-term relationships with clients, through managing and interpreting their requirements.• Develop relationships with executives in small and large companies to develop potential business.

• Capitalize on knowledge of automotive, medical, aerospace, machine tool industries, and/or learn the intricate details of each.• Persuade clients that a product best satisfies their needs in terms of quality, price and delivery.• Negotiate tender and contract terms and conditions to meet both client an d company needs.• Calculate client quotations and administer client accounts.• Provide pre-sales technical assistance and product education.• Work on after-sales support services and provide technical back up as required.• Arrange and carry out product training.• Analyze costs and sales.• Prepare reports for ARCH Global Precision and keep customer records.• Meet regular sales targets and coordinate sales projects.

• Support marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events. Produce productive leads from these events.• Make technical presentations and demonstrate how the product meets client needs.• Provide training and produce support material for other members of the sales team.• Willingness to travel 50-70 percent of the time.Competencies To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:• Use of Technology - Demonstrates required skills.• Design - Demonstrates attention to detail.Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.

Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.Mathematical Skills • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.Reasoning Ability • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
