As the Manager of Development for ServiceNow, you will lead the technical efforts to enhance existing workflows with new features, create new workflows, and resolve bugs. Your responsibilities will encompass integrating underlying transaction systems and data sources through Integration Hub, which support the Customer Service Management and Financial Service Management modules, as well as scoped applications. You will oversee a team of direct and indirect reports, primarily focusing on insurance-related applications. Additionally, you will actively participate in the development work while mentoring other developers who are eager to learn ServiceNow development.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5+ years of ServiceNow development experience.
- 2 + years of management experience.
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer.
- Experience with ServiceNow Financial Services Module and CSM.
- Strong JavaScript skills, with a preference for React experience.
- Experience managing integration with multiple systems through Integration Hub.
Primary Job Functions:
- Responsible for all workflow codes changes and any required scripting, with a preference for “out-of-box” functionality to facilitate accepting upgrades, improved development velocity, and minimizing tech debt.
- Create and maintain REACT.JS user interfaces served from within ServiceNow.
- When necessary, create well-formed, easy to read scripts with comments explaining the functionality.
- Development of additional features and enhancement to FSO suite of modules, including: CSM, Next Gen Experience, ATF, Change, APP Engine, UI Builder, Flow Designer, Decision Builder, Integration Hub, and Performance Analytics.
- Work extensively in Integration Hub on external integrations in partnership with the data engineering team using Web Services over SOAP, REST, and Graph.
- Creation of design documents, test cases & Unit testing, and regression suites.
- Work with the Product Manager to manage the backlog and prioritize work.
- Create an agile environment and allocate work accordingly amongst the team.
- Ability to architect with security up front a must.
