The Role


At SellerX we are growing our Marketing Department and now we are looking for a SEO Manager (x/f/m) to join our team. In this role, you will have the exciting opportunity to explore and experiment with a variety of SEO strategies, gaining valuable insights along the way. Your Responsibilities in Detail


  • SEO Strategy Development: Collaborate with the Head of D2C Marketing to develop and execute SEO strategies focused on traffic, rankings, and customer acquisition.
  • On-Page Optimization: Conduct on-page SEO audits and optimize content, metadata, and linking structures.
  • Keyword Research and Analysis: Perform keyword research using tools like Google Keyword Planner, SEMrush, or Ahrefs to optimize content.
  • Technical SEO Management: Implement technical SEO improvements (site speed, mobile optimization, schema markup) with web developers.
  • Content Optimization: Work with content creators to produce and optimize SEO-friendly content (blogs, product pages, etc.).
  • Link Building and Off-Page SEO: Develop and manage link-building strategies and monitor backlink profiles.
  • SEO Performance Monitoring: Track SEO performance metrics and provide reports with actionable insights.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with marketing teams and stay updated on SEO trends and algorithm changes.

Your Background


To join our team, you bring along 

  • Proven experience (minimum 4 years) in SEO management, with a focus on e-commerce or digital marketing.
  • Strong knowledge of search engine algorithms and SEO best practices, including on-page, off-page, and technical SEO.
  • Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Moz.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Experience in keyword research, competitive analysis, and content optimization.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate with external partners.
  • Passion for staying up-to-date with SEO industry trends and adapting strategies to meet the latest changes in search engine algorithms.
