The Role
Prosper is seeking smart, energetic professionals to join our Fraud Team. We are rapidly growing our business and are seeking an individual to help build a best-in-class fraud process. Must be extremely detail oriented.

What You Will Do
- Analyze personal loan applications, credit card accounts, and investor accounts for fraud and respond to inquiries regarding potential fraud in a production environment
- Conduct investigative/intelligence analysis of collected information derived from varying sources such as, database records, KYC documentation, external search engines and open-source websites
- Contact customers via phone and/or email to validate application information and/or transaction activity
- Utilize new/existing theft and fraud tools to effectively address potential risk or fraud
- Provide white-glove customer service, written and verbally, to all customers
- Present efficiency gain and process improvement ideas to management
- Actively contribute to enhancing, and maintaining existing fraud processes
What You Have Done
- 1 years’ experience in financial services industry (required)
- 1+ years’ experience as fraud specialist, analyst, or investigator is a plus
- Leverage research tools to execute sound decisions
- Demonstrated strong attention to detail and extremely thorough
- Proven to be a critical thinker, problem-solver, and analytical person
- Proof of exceptional quality and productivity performance
- Professional, proactive, and solution-oriented
- Able to work with limited supervision
- Positive and able to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Working knowledge of windows and MS products; able to navigate multiple screens & systems simultaneously
Compensation details: The starting salary for this position is $20 per, plus bonus and generous benefits.
