The Role


At Stori, we're seeking a passionate UX Writer to elevate the user experience across our multi-product digital experience. As a key member of the design team, you'll build a deep understanding of our user and define a strong point of view on how to craft clear, concise, and user-friendly copy that significantly improves ease and understanding for Stori’s users and improved business results for Stori. You'll collaborate closely with UX/UI designers, UX researchers, and Product Leads to ensure our products are intuitive, accessible, and resonate with our users.

What You'll Do


  • Collaborate & Craft: Partner to understand project objectives and test and iterate clear and compelling content (in app, text, website, email) that enhances the user experience and builds a strong connection with the target audience of our products.
  • Research & Iterate: Leverage user data and user research insights to inform and improve content that effectively addresses their needs, behaviors and pain points.
  • Inform Product Strategy: Guide the team by independently identifying opportunities for improvement and directly contributing to quarterly planning.
  • Develop Content Strategy: Define content strategy in collaboration with product and marketing teams that drives desired actions, and supports business goals.
  • Contribute to the Verbal Design System: Work closely with the UX Writing team to establish copy standards and guidelines that ensure consistency and brand clarity.
  • Maintain & Improve Content: Review and edit existing content, ensuring it's up-to-date, relevant, and adheres to UX best practices.

Requirements


  • Proven Experience: 2-3 years of experience as a UX Writer, demonstrating a strong portfolio of copy and microcopy across digital products, specifically mobile apps.
  • Educational Background: Preferably a bachelor's degree in Communication, Content Strategy, Linguistics, or a related field.
  • Excellent Spanish Writing Skills: Impeccable written and editing skills in Spanish, with a focus on clarity, accuracy, and tone.
  • Multi-Channel Content Creation: Demonstrated experience writing for diverse channels (in app, emails, web, self service, notifications) across a user experience.
  • Data-Driven Approach: Ability to interpret quantitative and qualitative feedback and leverage data and research to evaluate content impact.
  • Strong Communication & Collaboration Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, effective relationship building across cross-functional teams.
  • User Empathy: A demonstrated commitment to understanding user needs and the ability to put yourself and your team in their shoes.
  • Influence & Persuasion: Ability to communicate your point of view and gain buy-in on ideas and effectively advocate for user-centered solutions.
  • Design Software Proficiency: Familiarity with working directly in Figma.

  • Drive Engagement & Conversion: You love to see your work move the needle to support understanding and inspire decision making and action taking, leading users to explore our products, easily complete key tasks, and ultimately become loyal customers.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: You thrive working with design, product, marketing, and research, highlighting user problems and the value and impact of great writing.
