Job Title: Microfluidics Engineer
About Us: Biomeme is a leading innovator in biotech. We are seeking a highly skilled Microfluidics Engineer to join our dynamic team and contribute to the development of next-generation microfluidic systems.Job Overview: As a Microfluidics Engineer at Biomeme, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and optimizing microfluidic devices and systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including scientists, engineers, and product developers to create innovative solutions that meet both technical and commercial requirements.Key Responsibilities:• Design and Development: Lead the design, fabrication, and testing of microfluidic devices and systems.

Utilize CAD software and other tools to create detailed design specifications and prototypes.• Experimentation and Analysis: Conduct experiments to evaluate device performance, including fluid dynamics, pressure, and flow characteristics. Analyze data to optimize design and functionality.• Integration and Troubleshooting: Collaborate with other engineers and scientists to integrate microfluidic systems with other components. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise during development and testing.• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation of design processes, experimental results, and project progress.

Prepare detailed reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.• Innovation and Improvement: Stay updated on the latest advancements in microfluidics and related fields. Propose and implement innovative solutions to improve device performance and functionality.• Collaboration: Work closely with interdisciplinary teams, including researchers, software engineers, and manufacturing specialists, to ensure successful project outcomes.Qualifications:Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.

A Ph.D. is a plus.• Experience: Proven experience in microfluidics design and development, including hands-on experience with fabrication techniques (e.g., soft lithography, photolithography).• Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and microfabrication techniques. Experience with fluid dynamics simulation tools is highly desirable.• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
