About the role:We’re looking for a People Operations Manager who’s ready to dive in, collaborate with our leadership, and upscale our HR team! This hands-on role will align our people initiatives with business goals and support the People Operations across both Cognira & RetSci.What you'll be doing :

  • Lead existing HR projects and future initiatives alongside our leadership team and People Operations team, making sure our strategies are aligned with the business goals.
  • Oversee the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, career development, and offboarding.
  • Serve as an advisor to people managers to offer guidance on talent management & development programs, such as leadership development, coaching, mentoring, and succession planning for critical roles.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to foster a positive organizational culture, driving engagement, recognition, and team-building initiatives across both companies.
  • Join in on the fun by organizing team-building activities and participating in our social committee.
  • Lead process improvements to optimize and automate People Operations, including the management/updating of the HRIS database and employee admin tasks.
  • Oversee Talent Acquisition and Employer Branding initiatives, promoting both companies' brands to attract and retain top talent.
  • Oversee People Operations programs, such as performance reviews, employee feedback surveys, coaching, and exit interviews, turning data into action plans.
  • Ensure compliance with global and local labor laws, immigration, and employee classification regulations across multiple regions (U.S., EMEA, & our remote workforce).
  • Support and mentor the HR team, equipping them with best practices and knowledge to lead their projects effectively in alignment with global HR standards.

What you bring to the table:

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Having an HR professional certification ( such as SHRM or HRCI, etc) is a huge plus.
  • You have 5 years of HR experience with at least 1 year in a SaaS fast-paced organization.
  • You have strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple HR projects simultaneously.
  • You’re eager to mentor and lead a team while driving people operations initiatives across the organization.

Nice to have, but not mandatory:

  • You’re familiar with HR compliance, employment laws, and global HR practices.
