Our client, Longworth, is adding a key role to its leadership team.


Longworth is a full-service advertising agency based in Carmel, Indiana. With a dominant focus on media services, we’ve served advertisers and marketers across various industries since 2007. Our collective experience allows for uncommonly exceptional, smart, and creative strategies that move brands forward. We are growing and adding an Account Services Director responsible for the management, cultivation, and establishment of relationships between Longworth and its existing and future clients. This role is responsible for monitoring and addressing client needs by utilizing direct communication channels while focusing on account supervision, account management and agency resources.

The Director will work within the day-to-day scope of communicating with the client agency representative while maintaining an elevated level of responsiveness and communication. This person is responsible for being knowledgeable in both the client and agency businesses. They are also responsible for new business RFP responses and will lead the new business presentations and new business development efforts.This individual must have strong analytical thinking skills, an entrepreneurial spirit, and exceptional verbal and written communication skills. While this person may manage direct account leads and media buying personnel, this person will also need to have dynamic presentation, interpersonal, and people skills.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Will be responsible for the development of media strategies, approving plans, buys, and creatives for confirmation of meeting strategic goals prior to delivery to the client for approval.
  • Maintain and direct senior-level client contact while maintaining regular contact with all agency accounts at an elevated level outside of the account lead.
  • Direct the activities of account leads/coordinators and media buyers to ensure proper agency service to clients.
  • Presents and effectively sells media plans to clients; where media personnel are present, supports them in selling concepts and plans.
  • Analyze client input and direction together with background knowledge, research, etc., to direct or execute the development of marketing and media strategies.
  • Attends client meetings or receives briefings either directly from clients or from account team members.
  • Coordinates/oversees coordination of project timing and budgets with all relevant agency personnel.
  • Prepares quarterly overviews of client’s current activities, and monthly revenue forecasts, plus plans for future development of accounts.
  • Proactively assure that the agency provides client marketing and/or media plans with the greatest amount of value and effectiveness.
  • Assure agency personnel follow agency’s best practices and that clients are provided with up-to-date flowchart, budget, and media buy and client meeting (conference reports) documents.
  • Review important client developments with relevant account leads and media buyers while staying informed of all relevant client, industry, and marketing developments.
  • Other duties as required.

EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE


  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Communications, Marketing, PR, or related field or equivalent work experience required.
  • Ability to establish and nurture the agency/client relationship.
  • Excellent communication, organizational and teamwork skills.
  • Familiarity with all legacy and digital media buying channels and platforms, costs, tracking and measurement, formats, analysis and interpretation of related and respective metrics and data required.
  • Working knowledge and command of the following, their capabilities and purpose:
  • Google (GTM, GA4, Looker Studio, Search, LSAs, Display, Video, Business Profiles)
  • Meta
  • LinkedIn
  • DSP (Basis Technologies)
  • CRM
  • Legacy media (broadcast TV, Cable, Radio, Print, OOH)
  • Reporting platforms + web analytics
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 products for day-to-day business operations use, presentations, spreadsheets, and word processing required.
  • Organization and project management experience required.
