About Bankrate:
Bankrate is seeking an experienced Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Director to help drive organic growth. As a Director of SEO, you’ll lead a team of growth marketing analysts and fully own the development of your business's short and long-term strategy for Bankrate'sInsurance and Banking verticals. Bankrate is also one of the biggest brands in the financial services landscape.
About the Role:
Being a SEO Director at Bankrate allows you to work alongside an expert Editorial team, advanced Engineers, and a world-class Design team to create a robust SEO strategy to drive brand visibility. As SEO Director, you will have the autonomy to build a strategy and work with internal product teams to develop tooling to support that strategy & learn faster. An SEO Director is an integral part of a successful marketing strategy.
What You Will Do:
- Own the organic performance of one (or more) of Bankrate’s vertical businesses and lead a team of 1-5 growth marketing analysts with varying experience levels.
- Analyze organic search landscapes to find opportunities that drive valuable traffic and bottom-line value for the business in collaboration with our experience and business teams.
- Test, innovate, and build custom solutions with our world-class digital marketing, data science, and big data talent.
- Set and experiment with content promotion strategy with experience and creative teams using a wide array of digital tools and channels
- Leverage our proprietary primary source marketing stack to report on everything from operational (production) progress to upper funnel demand capture, rank position, and full funnel visibility to conversion and P&L metrics.
- Keep our sites and pages technically optimized for mobile users and search performance - including information architecture, schema management, semantic HTML, page speed, and other components of crawling and indexing performance.
What We Are Looking For:
- Someone who wants to work remotely from home:
- Opportunity to start remotely or at the Fort Mill Office is an option.
- Ability to support Red Ventures Operations by working 9 am to 5 pm Eastern Time is needed.
- Someone who can travel on a monthly basis:
- Ability to work at the Red Ventures’ Corporate Headquarters in Fort Mill, SC, on a monthly basis on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays is needed.
- Ability to work from home the other weeks.
Compensation:
- USA Compensation Range: $130,000 - 210,000**Note actual salary is based on geographic location, qualifications, and experience.
- Enrollment in Red Ventures Long Term Incentive Plan (Equity).
