We value teamwork, continuous improvement, and want you to bring your innovative ideas to the table!The Operations Generalist’s main job duties involve setting up and inspecting equipment, installing blades, measuring the length to cut specifications, operating machines, cross training, and supporting an evolving hybrid role as our lead Saw Operator with opportunities for career growth and development within the organization.
Please note the worksite for this position is located in Arvada, Colorado.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate various machinery, including pneumatic and manual saws, and joiners.
- Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production equipment.
- Perform quality assurance checks and inspect equipment prior to use to ensure proper setup and alignment and perform basic and routine maintenance.
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently.
- Handle materials, including receiving and replenishing inventory.
- Load and unload delivery trucks safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- As a backup Delivery Driver (10%), you will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate deliveries to our customers.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
What You Need to Succeed:
- Possess math skills and basic saw cutting experience with the ability to measure precisely within 1/16 of an inch.
- At least one year of related experience required.
- Must reside within 35 miles from Arvada, CO
- Previous delivery /driving experience
- Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds at a time, unassisted.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Willing to travel on short notice and drive in winter and mountain environments.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and ability to distinguish variations in similar items.
- Flexibility to work overtime when needed, including occasional Fridays.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Strong customer service experience and a focus on delivering quality under pressure.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
Schedule:
