JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking an experienced internal sales professional to join the Wealth Distribution team. Qualified applicants will have a minimum of five years of experience in financial services and an understanding of a diverse range of alternative investment products, including private credit. This position will work closely with the senior members of the external distribution team, serving as a point of contact for existing investors and helping drive new business by aiding the sales process. Qualified candidates will have excellent attention to detail and organization skills, proven product knowledge, exceptional client service and communication skills, and a proactive, entrepreneurial spirit.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the senior members of the external Wealth Distribution team in building and deepening relationships with existing clients and prospects through direct outreach, meeting coordination and management of investor inquiries.
- Act as a point of contact for existing investors and be responsible for leveraging the full resources of the firm to coordinate responses to all investor inquiries.
- Support prospecting efforts through proactive, self-directed outreach.
- Educate RIAs and other prospective clients on the firm’s investment products, including their features, benefits and considerations.
- Demonstrate exceptional knowledge of alternative investment products, channels and industry dynamics.
- Provide market expertise by remaining current on competitive and evolving market dynamics.
- Perform market analysis and assist in the development of sales presentations.
- Collaborate with internal departments, such as product specialists, marketing, and compliance to ensure alignment with sales strategies and compliance with internal and regulatory requirements.
- Attend client meetings and serve as a brand ambassador at industry conferences, as needed. Must be able to accommodate monthly travel.
- Coordinate client meetings and conference calls with prospects and existing clients.
- Assist with administrative client management tasks such as scheduling, follow-up material coordination, group meeting planning and client relationship management system maintenance.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
- Minimum 5+ years of applicable experience. Industry experience in alternative asset management or private wealth management is preferred.
- A Bachelor’s degree; concentrations in Economics, Finance or Business are preferred.
- Series 7, 63 licenses
- Knowledge of finance, investment management industry, and alternatives.
- Self-starter, able to work autonomously as well as collaborate with various teams.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Eager to learn in a highly intellectual, collaborative environment.
- Demonstrated client service attitude and entrepreneurial spirit.
- High degree of intellectual curiosity with ability to develop and implement ideas.
Preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Powerpoint.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics.
- Charter alternative investment analyst is a plus.

- Must be willing to work from the New York office and travel as necessary.
New York City Only: salary ranges are specific to market location; the salary range for this position is USD $125,000 to $175,000 and eligible for annual bonus.
