Full-timeDescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead a team of Inside Sales Representatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving sales targets, managing the Inside Sales Team, developing and implementing sales strategies, sales coaching and overseeing daily operations. The Sales Manager will also work closely with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction, and identify areas for improvement.

OBJECTIVES


  • Manage and mentor an inside sales team consisting of 8-10 members to ensure that sales targets are consistently met and performance standards are upheld.
  • Provide coaching and step in to take over sales calls when necessary to ensure the successful closing of deals.
  • Monitor and evaluate sales calls to enhance quality, reduce errors, and track the overall performance of the sales team.
  • Conduct needs assessments, one-on-one meetings, performance reviews, and cost/benefit analyses to optimize team productivity.
  • Set and execute performance targets focusing on speed, efficiency, sales, and quality metrics for the team.
  • Ensure that all relevant communications, records, and data are accurately updated and meticulously recorded.
  • Liaise with cross-functional supervisors, team leaders, and sales teams to foster efficiency and deliver optimal customer results.
  • Review team performance data regularly to identify training needs and execute targeted training sessions accordingly.
  • Coach, motivate, and retain staff by effectively coordinating bonus, reward, and incentive programs to drive engagement.
  • Regularly forecast and analyze sales data against budget figures on a weekly and/or monthly basis to ensure financial objectives are met.

COMPETENCIES


  • Previous experience in Digital Marketing or SEO is preferred. Google Analytics/AdWords Certification is a significant plus. 
  • Knowledge of local search ranking factors and/or writing online content is recommended.
  • Ability to collaborate actively with clients to understand their marketing goals and develop effective digital marketing strategies to achieve those goals.
  • Must be highly organized and detail-oriented in a production-intensive environment, with the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Effective in addressing and resolving client issues or complaints, coordinating with internal teams to provide timely and effective solutions. Escalate critical issues to upper management as necessary.
  • Exceptional at building rapport and fostering positive working relationships with clients and colleagues, including being approachable, empathetic, and understanding.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills, including expressing ideas, instructions, and feedback effectively and clearly through spoken word. This includes the ability to articulate complex concepts in a simple, understandable manner.
  • Excellent written communication skills, including writing clear and concise emails, reports, proposals, and other forms of written communication. This includes proper grammar, punctuation, and formatting.
  • Impressive presentation skills, delivering engaging and persuasive presentations, including creating and demonstrating digital marketing proposals or recommendations to clients.
  • Top-notch negotiation skills, engaging in constructive negotiations with clients or vendors to reach mutually beneficial agreements. This includes articulating and defending the firm's position while considering all parties' interests.
  • Well-versed in question-based consultative sales methodologies, with SPIN selling preferred.
  • Strong sales coaching acumen and ability to use data and qualitative signals to diagnose performance opportunities and prescribe effective, documented coaching approaches to improve sales rep performance.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION


  • Minimum of 5 years as a proven TOP PERFORMING sales leader, managing a team of 8 or more reps. 
  • 5+ years B2B Inside Sales experience
  • 5+ years of successfully ramping new hires and ongoing sales acumen development, including creating sales material, scripts, tools, flows, and processes
  • Digital Marketing experience is a big plus
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent experience.

  • Prolonged periods attending or presenting on video calls with camera on
