WHAT YOU’LL DO
The Digital Signage Interactive Media Programmer will have talents in digital media, content management and distribution platforms, as well as customer service. The key difference with this advanced position is the ability to create interactive presentations and maintain sometimes complex projects.You will be creating and maintaining interactive and advanced presentations. Presentations installed in retail fixtures will have some sort of consumer input, either a touchscreen, buttons, or other devices, that will allow the consumer to browse and choose which media they want to access.
These are the types of presentations you will be creating and maintaining.We expect you to be able to achieve a professional relationship with customers and to design and meet their interactive digital media requirements.
Major duties and responsibilities:
- Engage directly with end customers to understand and help plan media distribution plans for digital signage media
- UI development and programming
- Gather all finished assets from end customers or third parties (agencies, software partners, etc.) for each media release
- Schedule and test all media internally at SageNet prior to signoff and release
- Schedule, execute, and communicate with customers regarding media for review and signoff prior to deployment
- Schedule, execute, and report results of digital signage network media deployment based on customer schedules
- Manage and maintain a media deployment schedule for multiple clients, each with different frequencies of new media distributions
- Maintain content libraries for each customer to ensure the ability to rollback at any point if needed
- Work with software partners to deliver working assets from clients and provide instructions on the buildout of dynamic content
- Help deliver proper information about content needs and requirements based on customer outcome requests
- Perform other duties as assigned by the direct manager
WHO YOU ARE
Key Qualifications
- Education: B.A. or B.S. Degree desired; certifications in digital media design and creation considered
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of the BrightSign platform is a key asset
- Attributes: Integrity, creative and technical knowledge, and a passion for solving customer problems
- Experience: Proven track record in content management, distribution, and interactive design
- Digital Signage: Experience with digital signage and CMS software
- Media Creation: Proficiency in media creation tools, including Adobe Creative Suite
- Self-Starter: Excellent time management and multi-outcome results management
- Communication: Excellent writing and presentation skills for customer explanations
- Software Proficiency: Proficient in MS Excel.
WHERE YOU’LL WORK
- Work productively in a corporate office space or remotely if necessary
- Business casual in office, and business professional in front of customers
- Requires limited nights and weekends
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Be able to sit for long periods of time without problem
- Extensive use of fingers and hands for typing, digital media management and paperwork
- Extensive use of eyes to be able to analyze documents electronically and physically for long periods of time
- Less than 10% travel, if at all
PAY RANGE: $60,000 - $70,000 CAD
