Work Location: Huntsville, AL Schedule: Full Time IronMountain Solutions Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and organized Senior HR Generalist to join our corporate office in Huntsville, AL.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Perform routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, leave, disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance; productivity, recognition, and morale.
  • Stay abreast of changes in federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Coordinate new hire onboarding and educate newly hired employees on HR policies, internal procedures, and regulations.
  • Provide employee relations and assist employees with their questions and/or concerns.
  • Participate in employee meetings such as disciplinary, terminations, and investigations.
  • Participate in industry conferences & symposiums, and company functions.
  • Assist with coordinating professional development and educational needs.
  • Responsible for offboarding process, guiding managers through employee separations, collecting and analyzing exit interview feedback and data.
  • Provide support on any special projects or other duties which may be assigned. 
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use tools or controls; normal physical activity (reach with hands and arms; climb stairs); and communicate effectively with all levels of employees and leadership. The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies, up to 25 pounds.

Education and General Experience:


  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • Eight to ten years of human resource generalist experience required.
  • Human Resources experience in a government contracting environment required.
  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification required.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
