K2United is hiring an Account Executive, for our Secondary Education team, to consult with our customers and ensure they receive the best product offerings to fit their needs. If you have an enthusiasm for building relationships with clients to fill their shopping carts with products that will have a positive impact on young workers’ lives, this might be your next adventure! You will get to work directly with the Department of Education, directors, and teachers to determine funding and state credentialing while selling software for career and technical education students within the secondary and postsecondary markets.

About You


We are looking for someone who loves the challenge of enabling customers’ success by nurturing relationships through solutions. At a minimum, you have:

  • A minimum of 2 years performing outside or inside B2B sales experience
  • A background in selling in the education field, and/or OSHA or other safety-related fields
  • A self-disciplined entrepreneurial mindset
  • A professional demeanor with a confident, outgoing, and friendly disposition
  • Proficiency with computers, email, and standard Microsoft Office software
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Flexibility in schedule with the ability to work outside of “normal” business hours
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and willingness and ability to travel

Your Impact


As an Account Executive, you’ll have the opportunity to plan, create, and execute sales management strategies. Responsibilities will include:

  • Utilize various outreach delivery methods, including virtual meetings, sales presentations, daily phone calls, emails, and web-based meetings.
  • Provide high-touch customer service to your existing accounts through individualized reports and regular follow-ups.
  • Attend, exhibit, and present at state and national conferences and trade shows to increase brand awareness and generate new leads.
  • Utilize an enterprise-level Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database to grow and maintain your list of Accounts and Contacts, log daily outreach activities, map out strategic travel plans, deliver sales quotes, and generate custom reports.
  • Participate in and contribute to sales team meetings, training, and planning sessions regularly

RequirementsEducation: Bachelor's degree in marketing/business; or equivalent work experience.

Work Environment:

This job operates in a well-lit and temperature-controlled office environment with the use of standard office equipment such as phones and computers.
