Position Summary:
Mohawk Global is currently seeking a dynamic and experienced sales professional to join our Trade Advisory (MGTA) team as a Trade Consulting Business Development Executive. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, a deep understanding of CBP regulations and consulting services, and excellent public speaking skills. This role will involve selling our trade consulting services to clients and prospects, building relationships with key decision-makers, representing the company by speaking at industry conferences and events, and closing sales to meet revenue targets.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and target potential clients in need of CBP regulatory compliance solutions
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of leads and opportunities
- Conduct product presentations to showcase the benefits of our compliance solutions
- Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and other events
- Collaborate with the MGTA team to create sales material and campaigns
- Negotiate and close sales contracts with clients
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes to identify new products offerings and better serve clients
- Occasionally assist in Trade Compliance related projects
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, International Trade, or related field
- 10 years’ experience in a role supporting CBP regulatory compliance
- Proven track record of sales success in the regulatory compliance industry
- Strong understanding of trade regulations, compliance standards and consulting services
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients
- Self-motivated and driven to meet sales targets
- Willingness to travel for sales meeting, conferences and events as needed
- U.S. Customs Brokerage License (preferred)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
