THE OPPORTUNITY:We're looking for a team leader to run point on logistics and warehouse operations for our Council Bluffs, IA location (just across the river from Omaha)!We need a hard-working, safe, courteous, and customer-oriented individual. This role is unique in that you'll be providing support in many areas of our business development, i.e. client relationships, client pickups from multiple sites (near and far), as well as warehouse operations, inventory, and packaging and shipping. With the help of a small team, you'll be assisting in operations as an extension of our AZ, CA, TN, and TX teams, to help us reach more businesses and have a wider community impact. ER2 provides complete asset management solutions including hardware purchasing, asset inventory, secure data destruction, on-site IT asset removal, asset recovery, and responsible recycling for all of its partners.Check out our ER2 services to get a better understanding of what our operation looks like:https://er2.com/business-services/.We need a real team player; someone adaptable and ready to jump in wherever needed!This position is full-time, exempt, mainly Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:30pm, with some weekend/overnight trips as required.
Sometimes you'll be nearby and able to maintain normal business hours. Other times, you'll be a couple of hours away, or a couple of states away! So you must be willing to travel by plane or truck as needed! - 1+ years of relevant experience in logistics/warehouse management
- 1+ years of leadership experience required
- Able to balance attention to detail with swift execution

- Someone who enjoys driving!
- Ability to work independently at times, but communicate consistently
- Basic computer skills, ideally someone who is comfortable using Excel/Google Sheets/Email
- Comfortable using a pallet jack, forklift, and baler (if not already trained - must be willing to learn)

THE DAY TO DAY:Warehouse Management
- Drive warehouse operational and organizational excellence
- Recruit, lead, and develop a team
- Maintain and lead safety procedures in a warehouse environment
- Manage budget, monitor expenses, and control costs
- Process and sort IT equipment efficiently to be transferred to our other locations
- Maintain accurate records and ensure processes support our required certifications
- Manage the flow of inventory inbound and outbound
Logistics Support
- Follow planned daily route based on pick-ups assigned (box truck)
- Provide excellent customer service when picking up from clients
- Conduct onsite inventory of products being picked up
- Safely and securely load, transport, and unload goods
- Report on production and set goals for the team
- Work with local scrap and recycling vendors
- Keep up with daily communication with clients, partners, and team members via phone and email
- Perform vehicle inspections
- Maintain accurate records
- Clean and maintain company vehicles, as well as supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Provide assistance or direction to counterparts in other locations.
- Travel to other ER2 locations to assist with special projects or larger pick-ups as needed.

- The ability to lift, push, pull, maneuver, or carry heavy objects as needed, 70-100+ lbs
- Ability to sit and/or stand for consecutive hours
- Extreme physical stamina
OTHER POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Valid driver's license
- Excellent driving and navigation skills
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- The ability to speak/read English fluently
- Up to 50% of overnight travel, as required for business needs
- Experience driving larger vehicles is a definite plus, not required (will be driving a 26-foot box truck)
- Must pass a drug screen upon hire. This position is responsible for some safety-sensitive duties (operating company vehicles/heavy machinery) and therefore requires a commitment from the team member to be completely drug-free - please keep this in mind before submitting your application.
- A clean criminal record required
- Willing to spend a couple of weeks for initial training at one of our other locations
