Job Summary
The Creative Services Manager will oversee the development and execution of all creative assets, including copywriting and graphic design, for marketing campaigns, product launches, and sales enablement materials. This role requires a leader with a keen eye for design, a strong grasp of B2B messaging, and the ability to manage a team of creatives to deliver high-quality work on time and on brand in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Duties
- Lead and mentor a team of copywriters and graphic designers
- Set clear expectations for the team, providing regular feedback and performance evaluations
- Develop and implement creative strategies that align with the overall marketing objectives and brand guidelines
- Prioritize and allocate resources effectively to meet deadlines for multiple projects across multiple lines of business simultaneously
- Ensure consistency in brand messaging and visual identity across all marketing materials, including digital, print, and social media
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and sales teams to understand business goals and translate them into compelling creative concepts
- Serve as the primary point of contact between the creative team and other teams
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, integrating new approaches into the creative process where applicable
Skills and Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in a creative role, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management position, preferably in a B2B environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Detail-oriented, with a passion for producing high-quality work
- Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of successful B2B marketing campaigns across different mediums
- Expertise in graphic design and copywriting, with a solid understanding of branding principles and visual identity
- Proficiency with design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) and familiarity with copywriting best practices
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey creative concepts to non-creative stakeholders
- Track record of creating and leading lean, highly efficient teams that deliver outsized results
- Experience leveraging AI to create content and creatives
- Knowledge of web design and user experience (UX) principles
- Familiarity with video production and multimedia content creation
- Experience in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
