Heard is seeking a dynamic Inside Sales Representative to join our team on a 2-month contract from November through December. As an integral part of our newly revamped Sales team, you will play a crucial role in executing Heard’s growth plan during this critical period. The ideal candidate is hardworking, collaborative, and passionate about our mission to support mental health professionals.
Responsibilities
- Full-Cycle Sales Management: Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing to bring on new customers for Heard within the contract period.
- Conduct Product Demos: Facilitate engaging demos to close new business from thoroughly qualified inbound leads.
- Business Development: Research, identify, and generate new business opportunities to build and manage a sales funnel of outbound prospects.
- Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with Sales Leadership to develop tactics for business development and revenue growth.
- Process Improvement: Provide feedback to Sales Leadership on improving the sales process, including prospecting, closing, and forecasting. Document changes to ensure a repeatable and scalable process.
- Product Expertise: Become a product expert capable of successfully conducting demos and discussing the therapy industry in depth.
- Customer Feedback: Relay insights from prospects and customers to cross-functional teams to enhance the Heard software.
- Maintain High Sales Activity: Engage in a high volume of sales activities, including outbound calls, warm inbound calls, prospecting emails, and social selling.
Qualifications
- Experience: 1+ years of experience in software sales, preferably in FinTech or Healthcare SMB. Previous experience in a contract or short-term sales role is a plus.
- Sales Skills: Proficiency in full-cycle sales, cold calling/outbound sales, crafting cold emails and sales campaigns. Experience with CRM management (HubSpot preferred), facilitating sales demos, and closing deals.
- Self-Motivated: Willingness to roll up your sleeves to source and close your own deals within a short timeframe.
- Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Independence: Ability to independently manage your sales pipeline without micro-management.
- Adaptability: Flexible and excited about change; comfortable with evolving messaging and product offerings in a fast-growing environment.
- Attention to Detail: Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Team Player: Eager to contribute to an early and fast-growing Sales team.
- Passion for Mental Health: Genuine interest in mental health and supporting professionals in the industry.
