Rose Rocket sees a Manager of People Operations

The People Operations Manager will operate our People Ops functions during our next period of rapid growth and transformation. In this role, youā€™ll play a key role in supporting our growth and development by driving HR initiatives across recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and employee development. This person will act as a bridge between employees and management, ensuring alignment with our mission and values while maintaining a strong company culture.

  • Employee Relations & Engagement: Act as a trusted advisor to People Leaders and employees, fostering a positive and productive work environment by resolving conflicts and promoting open communication.

  • Performance Development: Operate the development and management of performance review cycles, feedback processes, and employee growth plans. Your efforts will drive accountability and continuous improvement across the team.

  • Learning & Development: Support the design and implementation of employee development programs, including training and mentorship initiatives. Help identify individual and team training needs, facilitating learning opportunities to support professional growth.

  • Compensation & Benefits: Support senior HR on the compensation programs and philosophy, but our next capital raise will prompt a new compensation study. In the meantime, you will manage competitive compensation, benefits, and reward programs to maintain a strong and engaged workforce.

  • Community Engagement: Weā€™re experts at building our Rose Rocket communityā€”but you wonā€™t find much about us online. We like to say weā€™re Torontoā€™s best-kept secret in tech! You will oversee and expand initiatives that strengthen our internal community, enhancing employee engagement and fostering connection.
