Rose Rocket sees a Manager of People Operations
The People Operations Manager will operate our People Ops functions during our next period of rapid growth and transformation. In this role, youāll play a key role in supporting our growth and development by driving HR initiatives across recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and employee development. This person will act as a bridge between employees and management, ensuring alignment with our mission and values while maintaining a strong company culture.
Key Responsibilities:
HR Operations: Ensure compliance with labour laws and optimize HR processes, including payroll, HRIS systems, and reporting, to support the companyās smooth scaling.
Employee Relations & Engagement: Act as a trusted advisor to People Leaders and employees, fostering a positive and productive work environment by resolving conflicts and promoting open communication.
Performance Development: Operate the development and management of performance review cycles, feedback processes, and employee growth plans. Your efforts will drive accountability and continuous improvement across the team.
Learning & Development: Support the design and implementation of employee development programs, including training and mentorship initiatives. Help identify individual and team training needs, facilitating learning opportunities to support professional growth.
Compensation & Benefits: Support senior HR on the compensation programs and philosophy, but our next capital raise will prompt a new compensation study. In the meantime, you will manage competitive compensation, benefits, and reward programs to maintain a strong and engaged workforce.

Skills & Qualifications
3-5 years of HR experience, preferably in a tech or startup environment.
Strong knowledge of Canadian labour laws (PEOs are a bonus).
This is a minimum 3-day in-office role, with Wednesdays and Fridays being an optional WFH day currently.
