Requirements
Enterprise Horizon Consulting Group is seeking a Software Engineer I / II to support a DoD project. This position is contingent upon contract award. Requirements for the position include:
- 1+ years of professional experience with research, design, and development of computer and network software or specialized utility programs which may include database maintenance within an application area. Individual shall have experience applying programming concepts in a professional or academic setting and experience with applying modern software development methodologies (e.g. agile, DEVOPS/DEVSECOPS) in a professional or academic setting.
- One (1) year of technical experience in support of systems engineering or systems administration within an enterprise hosting environment in the cloud in support of multiple interconnected systems and enterprise managed services.
- Bachelor’s degree in quantitative field such as engineering or mathematics (e.g. Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Information Systems).
Required Certifications
- CompTIA Security+ or CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP) or Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP).
- IEEE CS Software Development Associate Engineer Certification or a vendor/platform specific certification such as:
- Microsoft role-based certifications, Microsoft Certified Application Developer (MCAD),
- Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA), Red Hat Certification Program (RHCP) role-based certifications, CISCO Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Oracle Certified Professional (OCP),
- VMware Certified Technical Associate - Data Center Virtualization,
- Citrix Certified Administrator,
- Cloud certifications such as AWS Architect, Developer, and SysOps Associate,
- Agile Developer certification or Certified Scrum Developer certification or other certifications relevant to the role.
- Individual shall be certified as Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level I or II.
- Software Engineer Level II shall possess Agile Developer certification or Certified Scrum Developer certification.
