B2B Growth Marketing Manager to join our team in South Africa.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer acquisition, go-to-market strategies, product marketing, and leveraging data to drive marketing decisions. This role is pivotal in propelling Verto’s growth and ensuring our products reach and resonate with our target audience.
In this role you will:
- Develop and implement comprehensive customer acquisition strategies to drive growth and expand our B2B customer base.
- Utilise a mix of digital marketing, content marketing, and performance marketing to attract and convert high-value leads.
- Optimise marketing campaigns across various channels including search engines, social media, email, and display advertising.
- Design and execute go-to-market plans for new product launches and feature updates.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, sales, and customer success to ensure cohesive and effective market entry.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape.
- Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates Verto’s products in the market.
- Create compelling marketing materials such as product guides, whitepapers, case studies, and presentations.
- Work closely with the product team to understand features and benefits, translating technical details into customer-centric value propositions.
- Leverage data analytics to measure, analyse, and optimise marketing performance.
- Implement A/B testing and other data-driven methodologies to improve conversion rates and marketing ROI.
- Provide regular reports and insights to senior management on marketing activities and their impact on business growth.
You will have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field;
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in B2B marketing in Fintech, Banking or Financial Service Provider sectors.
- Good understanding of legislative requirements for brand promotion in the public domain, ie POPI acts, competition commission, etc.
- Proven track record in developing and executing successful go-to-market strategies.
- Strong understanding of product marketing principles and best practices.
- Proficiency in marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, HubSpot).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
