You’ll be working with a talented team of people who have built highly successful companies and globally-distributed systems at companies such as AWS, Google, Microsoft, Okta, Oracle, Cloudera, MongoDB, NewRelic and Twitter.We have a great opportunity for a Senior Product Education Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for helping developers learn and excel at using Fauna to build applications.
You will create training guides, workshops, sample applications and other technical content for Fauna customers. You will be part of the product team and collaborate with Engineering, Support and Sales in a cross-functional and distributed environment. Your technical background will enable you to work effectively with software development engineers, product managers and other teams. Your demonstrated ability as a strong communicator will help you as you deliver high-quality technical content.What You Will Do:
- Create hands-on technical content to help developers become confident with Fauna products
- Collaborate with others to understand customer needs around onboarding and education and create solutions to help them solve those needs
- Develop code sample, applications, and interactive tutorials that will help developers acclimate quickly, and solve querying and data modeling problems
What You Will Bring:
- 5+ years of experience in a technical role with hands-on coding experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or equivalent industry experience
- Proven record of producing accurate, clear, and concise developer-targeted content
- Ability to write code examples and sample applications with at least one of the following programming languages: Javascript, Go, C#, Python
- Familiarity with databases (relational, document-oriented, key-value stores, etc.), distributed systems, SaaS, or serverless development
- Track record of clear written and verbal communications
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $100,000-$140,000. Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
