ROLE
We are seeking a talented and seasoned Quality Engineer III to join our growing team. You will be responsible for validating and automating multiple SaaS applications in the social media space. You will work in small, cross-functional teams and love delivering value to our customers through shipping code. We deploy as often as we can and rely heavily on automation for our quality assurance.
WHAT YOU’LL DO ?
- Design, develop and maintain automated tests using Cypress for the CX Insights application
- Ensure high quality deliverables through effective automation suite
- Perform manual testing in instances where automation is not available
- Create and own the test plans for CXI Insights application and CXI Settings application
- Design, develop and maintain robust test cases for new features focusing on functional, performance and usability aspects
- Work closely with software engineers to achieve a high level of code coverage
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR ?
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent degree
- 4+ years of expertise in building test infrastructure using open source frameworks and tools
- 2+ years of experience in testing product functionality across the stack (databases, platform services, and end-user interfaces)
- Expertise in developing, managing, and implementing features in Automation Framework using Cypress
- Experience in testing and automating REST APIs
- Good understanding of git, pull requests, software development practices, and testing concepts
- Proficiency in OOP concepts, core Java skills, and database concepts
- Passionate about automating end-to-end testing for frontend/backend applications
- Comfortable with frequent, incremental code testing and deployment using various technologies and tools
- Strong communication skills for effectively conveying issues and progress updates regularly and accurately
