About the Role


We are looking for a versatile leader with early-stage startup experience, who is strategic, yet is a hands-on Product and Business Leader. As Head of AI Innovations, you will act as a champion for leveraging AI across the lending and deposit opening experiences and target and prioritize the most valuable use cases in a compliant way.You will be responsible for prioritizing AI initiatives, team development and hiring, and product rollout and scaling. You will also build and execute repeatable programs, processes, and policies to drive AI adoption within our Credit Union clients.The right candidate will be excited to be hands-on, highly ambitious with a deep sense of urgency, and will enjoy the process of scaling a growing business, having done it before.

Our targets are ambitious - we've tripled revenue this year and plan to do the same the next, and you'll be hungry to drive that growth.

About the Team


Our team is tight and highly focused, with an enormous expanse of potential applications. You'll be essential in helping us grow and develop our suite of AI use cases across both lending and deposit products. Utilizing our existing deep integrations, AI has the potential to materially improve both applicant and staff member experience, taking over routine and predictable tasks that often inhibit onboarding.You'll be highly ambitious and comfortable working autonomously. You'll report to our CPO/co-founder and join our leadership team, working with your peers to help Clutch grow across many fronts.

What You’ll Do


Within 3 months, you will:


  • Develop a deep, thorough, and detailed understanding of all processes within the credit union for lending and deposits (e.g. becomes the world’s best loan and deposit officer).

  • Orchestrate, execute and document a rollout plan for V1 of our communications chatbot Hal at 5 more Credit Unions.

  • Outline an initial work plan for 2 additional expanded use cases for our AI assistants overlayed with our specialized integrations and compliance limitations.

Within 6 months, you will:


  • Work with 3-5 pilot partners to launch expanded AI use cases. This includes developing pilot partner agreements, scheduling routine feedback and routine check-ins with regular visits, and re-assessing economic and pricing opportunities.

  • Launch at least 2 expanded use cases based on our 1Q prioritized list. The goal of the exercise is to achieve 1 of two outcomes for these AI efforts: (a) Improve additional dollars lent or deposited per visit (b) Reduce labor and time to lend or deposit.

Within 9 months, you will:


  • Continue to identify, prioritize, and execute additional expansion where LLM models can fill in process gaps in current lending or deposit operations (this includes the full lifecycle). The efforts continue to have the sole goals of: (a) Improving additional dollars lent or deposited per visit (b) Reducing labor and time to lend or deposit.

  • As the product suite matures, you will work with go-to-market teams to develop pricing and expansion strategies, as well as fill in product gaps to accommodate scaled rollout across multiple partners and partner systems.

What You’ll Bring



  • 5-10+ years of Product/General Management experience

  • Previous experience leading product, engineering, or implementation functions at an early-stage company (Growth, Series A or even Pre-Series A)

  • Experience working in a globally distributed remote culture and comfortable working with teams remotely across different time zones

  • Deep knowledge of best practices in enterprise software development

  • Ability to connect, influence, and coach employees of all levels in the organization

  • Superior interpersonal, leadership, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
