empowers companies to make cyber risk decisions across a wide range of platforms quickly and efficiently.  We help our customers’ cyber security and technology teams discover, prioritize and treat the most important risks based on real-time risk analytics, automated risk assessments, and remediation.  With actionable insights and timely communications provided by our software, our customers are reducing their response times to the constantly changing and emerging threats and saving their business from potential negative and significant impacts. Brinqa is in need of a Senior Solution Architect to play a part in the design of a project, assist in implementing Brinqa's products, and certify the solution design of strategic technologies during solution development. Our Senior Solution Architects help provide best practice advisory services to functional and technical streams throughout the solution implementation and ongoing sustainment.  They build and drive high performing relationships with customers and other stakeholders within the team to ensure high quality delivery of all aspects of solution development.

WHAT YOU WILL DO 


  • Solution design and review of all business process and system level changes as part of continual service improvement.
  • You will provide design perspectives to the process teams to maintain consistency, stability and supportability of the solution and processes in conjunction with maintaining the organizational roadmap for the solution while utilizing current vendor solution capabilities and the product roadmap.
  • You will facilitate meetings with system owners and other stakeholders to gather business requirements.
  • You will develop supporting materials to facilitate requirement building such as wireframes, sample dashboards, and user journey maps.
  • Mentor junior staff members on consulting customers during the implementation phase and providing solutions.
  • You will translate business requirements into user stories for the development team.
  • Working with the development team to continuously refine the documented requirements.
  • You will perform stakeholder engagement, outreach activities, and facilitate Agile ceremonies.
  • Develop procedures, manuals, and other documentation for the systems developed based on the requirements gathered
  • You will support testing activities during each sprint.
  • You will work with onsite and offshore developers to provide insight on business requirements and functional design.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED 


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other related discipline or 6+ years of previous technical experience, specifically security systems engineering experience
  • Experience integrating data sources and API connectors to ensure seamless data flow into Brinqa for risk assessment and analysis
  • Knowledge and understanding of cyber security and vulnerability management concepts
  • Excellent communication skills, with ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical staff at all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent knowledge of the architectural principles of cloud based platforms including SaaS, XaaS, & PaaS
  • Good understanding of all cybersecurity offerings in the market and ability to comfortably discuss cybersecurity solutions an architectures
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Groovy, Python and shell scripts.
  • Experience software development and related technologies such as Java, REST API, and GraphQL.

AND IDEALLY


  • CISSP certification or similar
  • Experience with NoSQL and/or large-scale data systems
